Welcome To Our New Partners

Hope for Children is a small and growing charity that helps some of the most disadvantaged children in the world. Its mission is to provide practical support, such as education and healthcare, to improve children’s quality of life, to advance their rights and give them a better future.

They already run several projects, on three continents, supporting street involved children. They were excited about the possibility of linking a group of children from the occasionally warm Scarborough with children in the definitely hot Uganda to develop a BIG IDEA into a fund raising opportunity.

That is how a winning S4TP team found themselves taking part in a Skype call with a group of children who are part of a project supporting street involved children in Kampala. There were decisions to be made about the development of the BIG IDEA and they were going to make them together.
